Bassist, clinician, author and solo artist Norm Stockton travels extensively throughout North America, Europe and Asia. He has appeared in leading music publications worldwide and is recognized by many as one of the premier bassists today.

He toured & recorded for six years with chart-topping worship artist (and former Steve Perry guitarist) Lincoln Brewster, and continues to work with him on various projects. Norm has also performed or recorded with a number of Grammy-winning artists.

As a leader, he has released three instrumental projects that have garnered widespread acclaim from around the globe. The latest, Grooves & Sushi, is also a web series featuring world-renowned musicians performing live in Norm's home.

Norm is also known internationally as a bass educator and clinician. Since 1999, his instructional DVD series, Grooving for Heaven (distributed by Alfred Publishing), has sold widely in the US and abroad. His instructional site (ArtOfGroove.com) has served students from around the world since 2012. He is adjunct faculty at Biola University in Los Angeles and has conducted master classes at The Los Angeles College of Music, Musicians Institute Tokyo, Tech Music School London and more.

He authored The Worship Bass Book, published by Hal Leonard in 2014.

Norm lives in Southern California with his wife and daughters.
